This place has been there serving good, old-fashioned diner food since I was just a little boy with my grandparents. Twenty years later, I still go there and it's not changed a bit. The food has it's off days just like any other place but 9/10 times you will be given a delicious meal at a good price. They also go out of their way to accommodate you as well; You want those cheese fries extra crispy? Done. You want extra butterscotch in your shake? Done. Mustard only on your dogs with extra mustard on top? Done. No complaining, no extra charges, just great customer service. If you stop by, I highly recommend the standard dogs, cheese fries and butterscotch shakes. They are fantastic.

Not your average dog or burger. Has a taste all its own. We moved right down the street from one, and it's hard not to swing in there after work. Really tasty stuff. Staff could be friendlier, but overall, it's a good place to eat.

The best onion rings! Made from scratch! Reminded me of a restaurant I worked at when I was in high school. Thanks for bringing back those memories! The staff was extremely friendly. When we come back to town, will definitely do this again!

gave me a cup full of ice and they no longer have refills guess I didnt need anything to wash the grease down with so they charged me another 2 dollars for another cup of ice

Love the hot dogs!! I've been coming to eat here ever since I was a child. They are the best hot dogs, cheese fries, shakes and flaked ice in your coke you could ever ask for!! I don't live in Wichita any more but we go to see family and go to eat there at least once!!

Burger tasted rotten, fries were not cooked all the way. I got very very sick from the few bites of the burger I had. I will stick to the dog n shake on the east side from now on!

Decent food. Only downside is, it is ran by a bunch of college kids that do not seem so thrilled to be there. Good Dr. Pepper that was a plus!

This is a small chain restaurant that only exist in Wichita. They have a unique hot dog, their french fries are also unique. If I was going to do fast food this would be one of my first few choices. I highly recommend. Try one of their shakes also.

Definitely worth a try if you want a burger, fries, and coke. Top notch hot dogs. Milkshakes are great, too. This is an old Wichita standard with a steady following. Fries beat the golden arches by a good margin.

Delicious toasted bun hot dogs and yummy shakes so thick you can barely drink them through a straw. Classic Wichita place that has been around since I was a kid. It feels a tad overpriced, though.

Love Dog-n-Shake! Burgers and hot dogs are fantastic. Shakes are to die for. (The cappacino flavor is by far my favorite.) The restaurant is always clean and service is friendly. And your food comes out fast!

Drove up from okc to get a Dog n shake hot dog so disappointing. They are just Not what they used to be. They used to be amazing with awesome relish and celery salt. What a major Bummer

The hotdogs and burgers are fantastic, not to mention they have some of the best fries in town. They are a local Burger chain that's been in Wichita for over 5 decades. I got the family meal which comes with 4 cheeseburgers, 4 hotdogs, and 2 large family size fries for $24. Good prices, delicious food, friendly staff. I always recommend Dog n Shake.

Good food and decent service. A little on the slow side but worth the wait.

The atmosphere was very casual. It was easy to communicate with the cook to make sure the order came out to perfection. A small amount of conversing from the staff made me and my girlfriend smile. Would recommend. Food gives you that classic burger and dog joint taste.

Hot dogs were burnt. Hambuger was made weird. Over priced.

Love this timeless wonder. Pork tenderloins were perfect. Onion rings, never fail. Usually the French fries are amazing, these were chilly. Maybe I should have requested hot / fresh. Love their marquee advertising. Burgers have always been wonderful. Guess I need to try one of their dogs someday. We "dined-in" and probably will eat in our vehicle next time. Young person at counter seemed to be staring at every bite we took. Overall I recommend Dog-N-Shake.

I have been in Wichita my whole life and have driven by here more times than than I care to remember. I finally went in for the first time after knowing about it for decades. Worth every penny. The staff is friendly, accurate, and fast. The quality is great for the price as well. definitely a new classic for me!

I ordered a chili cheese dog, fries and a medium soda. I am positive I was over charged since I paid $10. 37 and what she handed me was 4 french fries and a medium drink. When I said what I had ordered then they took it back and then handed me what I thought was a chili cheese dog and medium fry and why is driving down the road and ended up being a cheese dog with everything on it and I didn't want that stuff on my chili cheese dog. Bad thing is this girls. I used to work there. I'll never come back to that one.
